Performance
The 2016 Challenger is powered with a V-6 3.6 liter engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission that can generate up to 305 horsepower and up to 19 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. The vehicle also offers an optional V-8 5.7 liter hemi or a V-8 6.4 liter engine. There is also an optional supercharged V-8 6.2 liter engine that generates up to 707 horsepower. You can also get an optional six-speed manual transmission for a more authentic experience. The powertrain also includes independent rear suspension with rear wheel drive.
Interior
The interior of the new 2016 Dodge Challenger offers many comfortable and convenient features such as soft touch surfaces with aluminum accents and premium cloth upholstery with houndstooth design. The interior also includes 14 color options, high performance seats and more cabin space for plenty of leg and head room as well as a center console with drink holder. The interior is designed with a cockpit feel and easy-to-read reconfigurable instrument cluster with red trim gauges for more visibility.
