Performance

On most RAM 2500 trims, the standard engine is a large and powerful 5.7-liter Hemi V8, which provides383 horsepower at 5,600 revolutions per minute (RPM) and 400 foot-pounds (lb-ft) of torque at 4,000 RPM. However, there are several other engine choices available. Indeed, to attain the best-in-class maximum towing performance of 17,970 pounds, you can get the 6.7-liter Cummings Turbo Diesel inline six-cylinder engine, which, when mated with the available class-exclusive G56 six-speed manual transmission, delivers a jaw-dropping 660 lb-ft of torque with 350 horsepower. Whether you are carrying stuff in the trailer or in the cargo box, the 2015 RAM 1500 is the pick-up truck to get. Also included is the Electronic Range Select and tow/haul modes, which makes your job easier than ever before; and a choice between rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive on most trims for enhanced performance on the road.

Interior

The interior of the 2015 RAM 2500 gets high marks for its solid build and soft-touch materials. With the Crew Cab and Mega Cab options, the truck can accommodate up to five or six adult occupants with great ease, and even the Regular Cab provides ample space for three people. With the 40/20/40 split bench seat, you can create additional cargo space. Plus, depending on the trim combination you get, there are additional features at your disposal, such as leather upholstery, genuine wood dashboard inserts, power seat adjustability, and heating or ventilated capability on the seats.

Safety

 Each 2015 RAM 2500 comes with front impact bags for the driver and front passenger; dual seat-mounted side impact air bags, also for the driver and front passenger side; and roof-mounted side curtain air bags for protecting the heads of all occupants in the event of a crash. Also included are Electronic Stability control combined with anti-lock braking and traction control for reducing the risk of losing control of the vehicle when driving; and a Sentry Key theft-deterrent system with an engine immobilizer for preventing the unauthorized operation of the vehicle. Optional features include remote keyless entry system, security alarm to go with the theft-deterrent system, and the Parkview rear back-up camera for monitoring the truck when in reverse.
